About Our Practice
Balranald Medical Centre was started by Dr Vitalis Ihuarulam in December 2024, after relocating with his family from Narrandera, NSW. Dr Vitalis is proud to be part of the Balranald community and looks forward to many years of providing patients with professional, comprehensive and holistic healthcare.
Appointments
Booking an appointment
We request that bookings be made online via our Hotdoc account. If you don’t have a Hotdoc account, you’ll be prompted to create one before confirming an appointment.
Alternatively, you can phone (03) 4010 9609 for an appointment if you don’t have access to the internet to make an online booking. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time.
As Balranald Medical Centre and Dr Vitalis is new to the area, all first-time bookings will require completing a new patient registration form. Please allow enough time before your appointment to complete. You can fill in this form online or in person at our clinic.
Longer consultations
It’s important we take the time to address a holistic approach to your healthcare. If you require some extra time for care planning, health assessments, procedures, PAP smears and other issues, please ask our receptionist at time of booking.
Cancellations
Please call (03) 4010 9609 to cancel an appointment. We request all cancellations be at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Any appointments after 2pm on the day can be cancelled in the morning between 8am-9am.
A charge of $40 will apply if you do not arrive at the clinic for your appointment. We understand that in rural and remote communities like Balranald that emergencies and delays occur, so please let us know as soon as is possible.
